Conducting

Director

I was the youngest ever Cathedral director appointee (at the age of 21) and I have held positions at St John's College, Durham, Newcastle Cathedral, St Mary Magdalene Church (Royal Peculiar), Newark, Romsey Abbey, Salisbury Cathedral and Southampton University. I've worked with Beaulieu Abbey and the Montagu family and I've won numerous awards and have been recognised for my commitment to access and inclusion and for achieving the highest standards of music-making in worship. I have directed 10 live BBC Broadcasts made numerous commercial recordings, appear on TV from time to time and have been a guest conducter for courses and choirs across Europe and America. My specialism is in change management and for training choristers and working with professional adult choirs.

I am currently the deputy director at Great St Bart's in the City of London and honorary director of the Convivium Singers.
